About Junior League:
The Junior League of Sioux Falls is a non-profit organization that focuses on developing women as leaders and giving back to the community. Junior League works to fill a variety of needs in our community, with our focus on women and children. We work with a variety of community leaders to determine their needs and help address those needs through projects and fundraising. Our mission is to improve our community through awareness and volunteerism.

Some of our past projects include the Ronald McDonald House, Avera Race for the Cure, EmBe Women’s Leadership Program, CASA, and sex traffic awareness which lead to the development of Call to Freedom. Currently we are working with Avera Hospital to sponsor a patient room and design a kid’s playroom. We also recently donated to Emily’s Hope, a nonprofit started by KELOLAND News Anchor Angela Kenneke to help develop curriculum for a drug prevention education course.
